“Come and see the works of God, who is awesome in His deeds toward the sons of men.” (Ps. 66:5)

Dear Friend,

Blessings to you! Trusting that all is well with you, and your loved ones. We are all fine, and praising God for all that He has done in us, for us, and in our ministry this past year. This truly was a wonderful year with seven new people signing up as prayer partners on the phones, and countless callers calling in for prayer and/or salvation. Celebrating our 25th Anniversary in October was a tremendous highlight, as we gave God glory for all He has done in CHN for 25 wonderful years! Your partnership and prayers have made this possible. You share in this work of the harvest and God is so pleased!

In these last days God is calling His people together to gather in the harvest, as time is running short. We see what is happening in the world with the persecution of Jews and Christians alike, and how everything is getting off kilter with right and wrong just as predicted in the Book of Revelation chapter two. God is calling us to be bold, be strong in our faith! There is a song that encourages us to do this. It is “Be Bold, Be Strong.” with words and music by Morris Chapman. © 1987 by Word Music (a div. of WORD MUSIC)   It is a simple song, but it is so encouraging. It goes like this:

“Be bold! (Be bold!) Be strong!  (Be strong)  For the

Lord, your God, is with you: Be bold! (Be bold!) Be

strong! (Be strong!) For the Lord, your God, is with you.

I am not afraid, I am not dis-mayed. Cause I’m walk-in’ in faith and victory.

Come on and walk in faith and victory, For the Lord, your God is with you.”

As we celebrate the Birth of our Lord and Savior, Jesus Christ, let us be bold and strong in our faith and in Who we are in Him. Jesus turned the world upside down when He came to earth to set us free from death. His life forever made a mark in all those who have accepted him as Lord and Savior. Because of Him, because of His taking our sins upon Himself on the Cross of Calvary, all who accept Him as Lord and Savior can get to Heaven. Death has been overcome! We have a promise of life eternal forever and ever with Him in a glorious place. Now is the time to be bold in witnessing for Him, in showing the world that you follow Him and His Word. We are not to be afraid of Isis or Isil, or any other group who tries to steal our life and joy! Our joy is forever, it goes with us when we meet with Jesus in Heaven! Let us live to serve Him! Let our lives be a testimony to His love and care for us and for all. Let us be brave and strong soldiers of Christ. Let us take our families to church and teach our children well. Let us invite our unsaved family and friends to come with us to church!

We don’t know the day or hour that Jesus will return. It could be tonight! Are you ready? If you have not asked Jesus to come into your life, please say this simple prayer.

“Lord Jesus I need You. I am a sinner, and I ask You to forgive me. Thank You for loving me, and thank You for dying for my sins on the Cross. Thank You for forgiving all my sins. Come into my life as my Lord and Savior. Take over my life and make me whole. I give myself to You. Give me strength in these hard times to follow You all the days of my life. I love You Jesus, and thank You. Amen!”

Congratulations! If you have said this prayer and meant it with all your heart, you are now Born Again and a child of God. Jesus is your Lord and Savior, your Brother, your Helper, your Deliverer, the One Who loves you the most. He is with you, and He will guide you. Amen.

As we close out this year and move on to 2015 let us purpose to be strong in Him. Let us look forward to a wonderful new year filled with God’s promises of love, peace, joy, protection, and more. No one can love you more than He does! When God created you in your mothers’ womb He already had you planned from before time began. “Before I formed you in the womb I knew you;” Just think, YOU were on His mind before you were even in your mothers’ womb! How awesome is that? God knew your name, your color hair, how tall you would be, and what your giftings would be, and He smiled. You are His handiwork, and no one can ever take that away from you.

This Christmas let us remember why we celebrate the day. Let us praise Him in song, in word, and in deed. Let us vow to close out our year in prayer, and open up the New Year with prayer and thanksgiving, and joy knowing that we serve a Mighty God, the King of Kings, the Great I AM! Let us be bold in our faith, and press on to change the world around us. Let us be beacons of light to our family and friends. Let us shine where we work, and show the world the love of Christ and how He makes all things new. This is a time for reflection, a time for drawing nearer to Him. He is calling us, how will we respond? After the Christmas celebrations, the presents, the gatherings of family and friends, what comes next? Do we go on with life as usual, or do we bravely and strongly go forth to live our life to the fullest, no matter what goes on around us? Do we dare to pioneer something that God has called us to do? Do we dare to spread the gospel wherever we go? Do we dare to step out unafraid and boldly to bring the world around us to Christ? Right now, write a letter to Jesus, tell Him you love Him, and ask Him to lead and guide you throughout the year, to give you the courage to change what you can change. Make a list of what He brings to your mind and pray over it. Then place it in your Bible to be read at the end of 2015. Father I lift this person up to You, and ask You to bless him or her in a powerful way this new year. Draw this person close, fill this person with Your love, Your peace and Your joy, for Your Glory. Amen! Merry Christmas!

In His Service,

Pastor Barbara
