"Eye has not seen, nor ear heard, Nor have entered into the heart of man the things which God has prepared for those who love Him."   (1 Corinthians 2:9 )

Dear Friend,

Happy New Year! Trusting that all is well with you and your loved ones! We are all fine and looking forward to what God has in store for us in this New Year! I believe that God has such wonderful plans for all of us this year! All of the planting and sowing we did in 2007 will come to fruition in this year. We are entering into a new season, one of growth, of completion, of joy unspeakable! Glory!

Every New Year brings us anticipation of a bright new future, one of peace, health, joy, and prosperity. For some who faced a year of trials, the New Year is full of hope for brighter things. For some of us, last year was a wonderful one, full of victories and fresh new adventures! Will this year be the same, or better? What plans does God have for us this year? What can we look forward to?

Ephesians Chapter one, verse three, reminds us of a powerful spiritual truth. “Blessed be the God and Father of our Lord Jesus Christ, who has blessed us with every spiritual blessing in the heavenly places in Christ Jesus.” Notice that this is in the present tense, it says “who has blessed us” not “who will bless us.” Glory! This spiritual truth should be ingrained in our hearts, because it is for now, for the present! Therefore, we are already blessed, and we are already, as Born Again Christians, living in heavenly places with our Lord Jesus Christ! We are no longer of this earth, we are citizens of Heaven! Jesus has given us all that we need to live a victorious life in Him! Our sins are washed away; the Holy Spirit lives in us, teaching us, helping us, encouraging us to press on in our Christian walk. We are not left as orphans, we have God as our Father, and Jesus as our Lord and Savior and as our Brother. We have the Holy Spirit as our Helper, our Teacher, and our Guide. We are part of the Family of God! With this in mind, we know that we can press in to our future with hope and joy, and know that we are not alone! Praise God!

Paul tells us that we have not seen, or heard, or even thought of the riches that God has for us. God’s purposes are glorious, His wisdom is endless, His love is eternal. Therefore, what do we have to fear? Nothing! While we may have tribulations on this earth, we know that we are not alone, and God is always at work in our life. He wants to see us succeed! He wants to see us move forward in Him! He wants to see us grow, and learn, and reach for the highest! No matter what comes against us, we have our faith, and we have the promise of victory! This year, as last year, will have its’ ups and downs. However, that does not have to rule our emotions, or our lives. We can remain steady in Him, knowing that if God is for us, who can be against us? (Rom. 8:31).

Praise God, it is our Father’s good pleasure to see us succeed! Before time began, before the earth was formed, and everything in it, God had YOU in mind! His Father’s heart saw you, and He yearned for your fellowship. His desire was to walk with you, talk with you, and show His love to you. His desire was to have His child look to Him with love and affection, wanting to please Him. His purpose for creating you was for His pleasure! He loves it when you seek Him and want to talk to Him. He loves it when you bring your successes and failures to Him. His desire is to have intimate fellowship with you! When we keep our focus on the One who loves us more than anyone on this earth can, we are in the right place. We are therefore “more than conquerors through Him who loved us.” (Rom. 8:37). Let us always keep this in mind!

I believe this is going to be a year of reaping. I believe that for those of us who have pressed in, seeking God in all things, we will see His work at hand. We will see the answers to our prayers. I believe this is a year of restoration. Where the enemy has stolen from us, God will restore! We will see our children saved, we will see our family serving God, we will see our finances stabilized, and there will be growth! God has seen our tears, and He is moving heaven and earth to bring to pass the desires of our heart. Yes, we will succeed! Yes, we will move forward in the things of the Spirit! Yes, the Gifts of the Holy Spirit are for today, and for those of us who desire them so that we can bless others, the Holy Spirit will breathe upon us, and equip us for service! Yes, we will move forward, not looking back as Lots family did with Sodom and Gomorrah. Our past sin is the past. Our past failures are the past. Our past is the past!! It is time to move on to our high calling in Christ Jesus! It is time to reap the benefits of what we have sown. It is time to sow new seed for new ground!!!

Father, in Jesus Precious Name, I come before Your Throne of Grace, covered by His precious blood so that I may appear before You righteous. Lord, I thank You for all that You have done in this past year. I thank You for all the victories, the fun, the joys, the gladness of heart. I thank You for carrying us through the hard times. I thank You for Your never ending love for each one of us. Praise You Lord! Thank You for the Cross! Thank You for Salvation! Thank You for Your Father love! No one loves us as You do! We love You Father. We adore You, and worship You. And now Father, we take our positions as Your children, and we speak forth victories in this New Year. We speak forth a mighty move of Your Holy Spirit, one that the world has never seen before!! We speak forth Wisdom, and Knowledge, and Understanding, for every child of God. We speak forth a mighty Wind of Revival in our heart, and in the hearts of Your saints. We receive it, and thank You for it in Jesus Name. Amen! God bless you!

God bless you,
