"The eyes of the Lord are on the righteous, And His ears are open to their cry!"  (Ps. 34:15)

Dear Friend,

Trusting that all is well with you and your loved ones. We are doing well, and praising God for His Faithfulness. Our ministries have grown, and God is blessing the work of our hands as He has promised in His Word. It is such a pleasure to enter into the summer season, isn't it? This past winter was a rough one, and spring took its time in getting here. Thank God for new seasons, and new seasons in our life! I took a walk along the waterfront near my home recently, and even though it was chilly out, the sun was strong and its light danced upon the waves as they rolled in towards the rocks. I took a deep breath and smelled the salty air while listening to the waves as they gracefully came in towards me. I think there is nothing more relaxing than listening to the sounds of the ocean. Sea Gulls were soaring overhead and they were a sight to behold. It seems as if their very being simply praises God! They radiate such grace and  joy! They do not worry about what will happen next, or where their food will come from. They just enjoy being!

Shouldn't we be like that too? Life can certainly be hard, absolutely! We went through a tough season at CHN while we were in the process of working with God TV. Our printer broke down, and we ordered a new one that refused to work. After spending 3 full days with tech support, the company sent another one and we had to lift up this 100 pound machine and pack it to go back. The new one also refused to work, and after losing more days with tech support I refused to keep it. After help from the company we purchased it from, we received another brand, one that works beautifully!  After that, we began working to get our phones compatible with God TV, and it seemed as if all systems broke down. I had to spend days and hours on the phone with our phone provider and our voice mail provider to get what we needed. It took us almost this long to realize that we were under attack from the enemy. He did not want us to have this blessing of reaching out to hundreds of people through God TV!

Our office volunteers and I began to pray even more diligently then! God did answer our prayers with the printer... He did answer our prayers with the phones and voice mail. However, I have to confess that we all missed the boat here for a while. I realize that there are circumstances where things happen. They just do, it is part of life here on earth. However, there are times when the enemy is out to destroy! Sometimes we are so involved in trying to fix things that we do not pay attention! We keep going along in our own strength, trying to do it ourselves. Yes, we prayed. But we did not pray effectively! When I finally gave up and told the Lord that I could not do this any longer, that I needed for Him to step in and take over, He gloriously did so. Praise Him!

Since this time, our eyes and ears are alert now! Even though the trials we went through were not considered life threatening, they were serious to the work God was calling us to do. Therefore, when things happen from now on, we will be on guard! We will cry out knowing that He hears us!!!

Psalm 34 is a powerful Psalm. It says "Oh, taste and see that the Lord is good:  Blessed is the man who trusts in Him."  (Vs. 8) When we place our trust in Him, He is Faithful! When the storms come, where do we place our trust? God is standing there, just waiting for us to call on Him! God is concerned even with technical problems! There is nothing too small, or nothing too hard, that He can't fix! While we trusted God during this trial, and while we prayed, we did not truly turn everything over to Him. Yes, we had to deal with companies, and we had to deal with receiving what we were entitled to. But we (I) did not need to get stressed out over it! I confess, I did. This was a huge test for me.

God's Word says "the righteous" cry out, and the Lord hears. Who are the righteous? We are! All of us who have accepted Jesus Christ into our heart as our Lord and Savior, are the righteous! Because of the Cross of Calvary, because of Jesus dying for us, for our sins, we who have accepted Him are made righteous before the Living God. We can now enter into His Throne Room, covered by the Blood of Jesus, and appear to Him righteous, bringing our concerns, our cares, our trials, our life, before Him. We can now expect that because of what Jesus has done, we have the victory in all things. Glory! Therefore, from now on, let us remember this when the storms come, and cry out knowing that God hears us. His Word also says in Psalm 34, verse 10, "The young lions lack and suffer hunger, but those who seek the Lord shall not lack any good thing." Wow! This is for us! It also says in vs. 18, "The Lord is near to those who have a broken heart, And saves such as have a contrite spirit." Please read all of Psalm 34, and let it encourage you! No matter what is going on in our life right now, God is near, and He hears us. He is concerned about what concerns us! Even if it is a printer! There is nothing too small for Him, He wants us to come to Him with every care on our heart.

He wants us to see victory in every circumstance. However, He wants us also to call upon Him and let Him know our hearts desire. He wants us to trust Him. He wants us to reach out immediately when help is needed so that while things are "being fixed". He will see to it that we are comforted. I would like to say this prayer for you...

Father, in Jesus Mighty Name, I come before You and worship You. Lord, I thank You for this reader. I thank You that Your hand is upon him or her, and that You know all the concerns that are there in this life right now. Father, we lift up those concerns to You, and we ask for You to handle them! Give comfort, peace, reassurance and hope to this reader. Fill this person with Your love and Your joy this day. Give encouragement and hope to this heart! Father, take care of all his or her needs according to Your Word. We thank You right now, for Your love, Your peace, Your comfort, and protection. We thank You for what you are doing right now, and for what You are about to do! We place our trust in You! For Your glory. Amen.

God bless you as you pray for others!
