“...Then Shadrach, Meshach, and Abed-Nego came from the midst of thefire.”  (Dan. 3:26)

Dear Friend,

Trusting that all is well with you and your loved ones. We are all fine, and so excited about the things that God is doing this year! Our first Well-Spouse Support Group began in January, and we look forward to seeing this group grow for the glory of God. If you are a caregiver for an ill spouse, please feel free to attend our meetings. Call our office, 718-745-1003 for further information regarding this group, and our other support groups as well.

We are also gearing up to calling churches throughout NY to invite them to participate in the Day to Pray for the Peace of Jerusalem. All that we ask is for each church to take the first Sunday of October to pray in unison for peace in Jerusalem. Last year Robert Stearns and his Eagles Wings team were televised worldwide as they conducted a prayer ceremony direct from Jerusalem. It was powerful! For more information regarding this special day go to www.daytopray.com  or if you live in NY, please feel free to call me.

Our Hope Connection Helpline has been extremely busy, and praise God, He is answering prayer. If you have had a prayer request answered when calling our Helpline, The Hope Connection, please call and let us know so that we can give glory to God!

There is nothing more glorious then God showing up while we are in the midst of a fiery trial! If we can stop for a moment, let us take in the events that led up to the three men thrown into a red hot fiery furnace! Here were three Hebrew friends of Daniel, who held on to their beliefs in the face of tremendous pressure! They remained extraordinarily faithful to God in spite of being captured and forced to serve the king. It was one thing to walk into a fiery furnace knowing that God was going to protect them, but another to walk into it knowing that somehow God could choose to let them die! “If that is the case, our God whom we serve is able to deliver us from the burning fiery furnace, and He will deliver us from your hand O king. But if not, let it be known to you, O king, that we do not serve your gods, nor will we worship the gold image which you have set up.” (Dan. 3:17,18) The Bible tells us that the fire was made so hot that it killed the men who put them in! I just love it when it says “Then King Nebuchadnezzar was astonished; and he rose in haste and spoke, saying to his counselors, ‘Did we not cast three men bound into the midst of the fire?’ They answered and said ‘True, O king.’ ‘Look!’ he answered, ‘I see four men loose, walking in the midst of the fire; and they are not hurt, and the form of the fourth is like the Son of God.” (Dan. 3:24,25). Glory! I am sure you feel the same way that I do; this testimony never ceases to excite me!

We all go through those “fiery” trials where we feel as if our God can deliver us, but perhaps He won’t. We don’t know what to think! We stand on His Word, that says that ...”I say to you, if you have faith as a mustard seed, you will say to this mountain, ‘Move from here to there’ and it will move; and nothing will be impossible for you....” (Matt. 17:20) (KJV) Then what do we do afterwards? We worry. Be honest now, let’s get real. We believe God, and yet we worry.

I’m going to give you another verse that I pray will get into your spirit. “But without faith it is impossible to please Him: for he who comes to God must believe that He is, and that He is a rewarder of those who diligently seek Him.” (Heb. 11:6) With this verse, I am going to challenge you, right now, where you are at, to place your faith in God, and expect that He will answer! I am challenging you to take your situation, as tough as it may seem, perhaps just as tough as being faced with being thrown into a fiery furnace, and then trust God to deliver you!

I have faith that you can rise up to this challenge, and I am in agreement with you that God is going to do the miraculous! I am believing with you that your prayer will be answered! I am believing with you that your children shall serve the Lord! I am believing with you, that any sickness has got to go! I am believing with you, that your finances will hit the roof this year; with jobs, and bonuses, and unexpected money coming in! I am believing with you that God is giving you wisdom in your finances to get out of debt! I am believing with you for your marriage to be restored, for your family to be healed, for the salvation, healing, and deliverance of all of your loved ones! Rise up and take your place as a child of God, and take that faith, even as small as a mustard seed, and let it blossom! Begin to walk with Him! Begin to search out His Word for what He has to say to you! If you listen, He will speak! Turn off your television, and spend quality time with Him! Meditate upon His Word until it pierces your being. Pray, talk to Him, cry out to Him! How serious are you in wanting to see your prayers answered? I see people who walk around moaning all the time that God never answers their prayers. When I ask them how much time they take in prayer for that need, they say, “well, God knows my need.” Yes, God knows their need, He knows all of our needs, but He wants us to ask! He wants fellowship with us, He wants to know what is on our heart by hearing us speak to Him! He loves us so much, He loves YOU so much, that He longs for your fellowship. He wants to meet your needs, and He is there for you. As a Loving Father who knows more than we do regarding what we need in every situation, He is ready and willing to set into motion whatever it takes to bring answers to our prayers. He simply wants our trust. Let us rise up and take our place as His favored child, and know that no matter what our circumstances are, we are not to worry. Our God is Faithful!

God bless you as you pray for others!
