“For You created my inmost being; You knit me together in my mother’s womb.” (Psalm 139:13)

Dear Friend,

Trusting that all is well with you and your loved ones.  We are fine, and so happy that Spring is here, and flowers are starting to bloom. The earth is full of color and the birds are singing!  I can just imagine God smiling as He hears the songs coming up to heaven from the beautiful birds He has created!  What joy! He must have such fun creating them, with all their different colors and sounds. I can only imagine how He must clap His hands and laugh when there is a new creation!

Psalm 139 goes into detail of how we were created, and God’s awesome love for us even while in the womb. The Psalmist says “I praise You because I am fearfully and wonderfully made; Your works are wonderful, I know that full well.” (Vs.14) If there is ever any doubt regarding how we came to being, this Psalm answers it all. No one is here by accident. No one is here by mistake. God brought each one of us to life because He has a plan. Our time on earth may be 70 or 80 years, or more, which goes really fast once one has reached a certain age!  During this time on earth, God’s intention for us is to accept Jesus as Lord and Savior, and fulfill His will for us on earth. His will is a life of service to Him. It is a life filled with hunger for His Presence, and filled with joy as His plans unfold for us. The Psalmist says in vs. 17, “How precious to me are your thoughts, O God!”  We can really, never, know how much He thinks of us!  There are times when we may feel alone, or we may feel as if our life has no purpose, but that is the farthest from the truth!  Just think for a minute. Are you a mom, or a dad? Do you have more than one child? If so, who do you love more?   I know, you can not answer that!  Every child is loved as much as the others. Every child has a purpose here on earth. Every child is wanted, loved, cared for, and all hopes and prayers are for each child to live a good life, and fulfill their destiny here on earth. We know God’s love in part.... His love is higher than ours; His love is unshakable, undeniable, and will never fail. Even if we were born of parents who were not ready for us, God was ready!  God wanted us here! As we have accepted Jesus into our life as our Lord and Savior, the times and seasons of our life are fulfilled. Our destiny becomes clear, and joy awaits us! Each one of us is a child of God! Each one of us has been planned, is loved, and is being watched and cared for. Each one of us shall rise up to our calling and destiny in Christ!  This is our inheritance! This is our Heavenly Father’s plan!  He is cheering each one of us on along with all the saints already in heaven. The Bible tells us “ ”Therefore, since we are surrounded by such a great cloud of witnesses, let us throw off everything that hinders and the sin that so easily entangles, and let us run with perseverance the race marked out for us. Let us fix our eyes on Jesus, the author and perfecter of our faith, who for the joy set before Him endured the cross, scorning its shame, and sat down at the right hand of God. Consider Him who endured such opposition from sinful men, so that you will not grow weary and lost heart.”  (Hebrews 12:1-3)

Therefore, Jesus loves us so much that He did all of this so that we can take our place as joint heirs with Him in all of God’s plan. He did this for you, for me, and for every person who lives. He has shared His Inheritance with His earthly brothers and sisters!  That is US my friend!  We are so rich in Him!  We are joint Heirs with Him!  “So you are no longer a slave, but a son, and since you are a son, God has made you also an heir.” (Galations 4:7)   God loves you and me just as He loves His Son Jesus!  For those of us who have accepted Jesus as our Lord and Savior, we are in the family of God!  Jesus is our Brother! Because of Him, when we die we can go to heaven to be with Him and our Heavenly Father. God has thought of everything!  You and I are on His mind and He wants to see us reach our full potential in Him!

Just as a good parent loves all of his or her children, God loves each one of us. There are no favorites!  He wants to see you grow in Him, and enjoy the life that He has given you. He wants to see you happy and healthy and comfortable.  The Bible says He loves us with an everlasting Love. “The Lord appeared to us in the past, saying: “I have loved you with an everlasting love; I have drawn you with loving kindness.” (Jeremiah 33:3)

There is no greater love than His, the One Who thought of us before He created us in the womb.

He would love it so much if He could see His children reading His Word every single day! Could you imagine what it would be like if your children never listened to you, or spoke to you?  Could you imagine if you warned your child of an impending danger, and your child just continued to go about his or her business?  Could you imagine if your child was hurting so deeply from a verbal wound and refused to hear or take into account that you love him or her so much and that everything would be taken care of? How many times does Jesus try to get through to us that everything will be all right, and that we do not have to get sick because of a situation?  I have seen that so many times in my own life. I prayed, then worried! He tells us NOT to worry! (Matthew 6:25-34)  Once we have prayed, the God who created us has it, and He will handle it!  Praise God!!  Nothing is too hard for Him! Nothing is too small or too big to ask Him for! Nothing  makes God more happy, then to see one of His “Jewels” call out to Him and seek His help! You are one of His jewels! Keep that always in your mind, and know that you are loved by the God Who created you and keeps you day by day and will until it is time for you to go home to heaven. Then you will see Him face to Face!  Praise Him!

Father, encourage this reader right now, and fill his or her heart with Your perfect love. Amen!  God bless you!

God bless you,

Rev. Barbara A. Yovino, Ph.D.
