CHN is a network of volunteers from churches throughout the United States of America and throughout the nations. Our mission and passion is to carry on the Great Commission given by our Lord Jesus Christ.

“For God has not given us a spirit of fear, but of power and of love and
of a sound mind.” (2 Tim. 1:7)

Dear Friend,

Trusting that all is well with you and your loved ones. We are fine, and very busy with calls to our prayer line. So much is going on in the world, and everything seems so confusing, that I firmly believe that prayers of agreement are desperately needed by individuals and groups. Our prayer partners are standing by ready to pray in agreement and offer encouragement from the Word of God. Call today! 718-238-4600

However, in spite of all this, there is something very good happening! On October 2nd the whole world will be praying for the peace of Jerusalem! This is always so exciting, because when you think of what is going on in the heavenlies as people all over the globe are praying in one accord, it is mind boggling! Just think, as the world turns its axis and enters into different time zones, prayer is going up for Israel and the Jewish people! So there is 24 hour prayer going up, and God is listening! What music that has to be to His ears! We know that when we pray, He not only hears, but He answers! As the Word goes forth, heaven opens up, and angels are released to do the work of God! When praying the Word, God moves! He tells us in His Word. “Pray for the peace of Jerusalem; May they prosper who love you. Peace be within your walls, Prosperity within your palaces.” (Psalm 122:6,7) This is a promise, and God never fails. Glory! When you pray each day, please remember to pray for the Peace of Jerusalem. You will be blessed because this is so dear to God’s heart!

We are living in such an odd time. We know that we are into the last days, and when we see so much happening around us that we cannot control, it would be totally disheartening if we did not know Jesus as our Lord and Savior. His promises written in His Word give us hope for a future! We know that nothing is impossible to Him, and that is very encouraging. We also know that we have a role to play in the scheme of things. But what? As Christians, we have not been called to an easy life. Yes, it is true that God’s promises are for us and our hope is in Him. But we also know that Jesus said “ These things I have spoken to you, that in Me you may have peace. In the world you will have tribulation; but be of good cheer, I have overcome the world.” (Jn.16:33) Praise God! Jesus loves us so much that He willingly gave up His life for us, suffering a horrible death as He took our sins upon Him on the Cross of Calvary. The Good News is that He rose again and ever lives to make intercession for us! “Therefore He is also able to save to the uttermost those who came to God through him since He always lives to make intercession for them. (Heb. 7:25) Glory to God! Okay, so now, knowing this, what are we to do? God is doing His job, and now it is up to us to do ours!

What we say with our mouth is so important! It is so easy to just give in, and say everything is a mess, there is no hope for the future. But God says something different! He tells us to trust Him so much that whatever comes out of our mouths will bring glory to Him! He tells us over and over again in His Word that we are to trust Him in all things. If we truly trust Him, then what words should be coming from our mouth? Think about it for a moment! If we absolutely believe His Word, if we absolutely believe that Jesus is Who He says He is, the Son of the Living God, then there should be no question in our minds as to our future! If there is no question, then why are we acting like there is? Our words are so important! What we say with our mouth can mean life or death. Therefore, let us choose life! Let us choose to hope in this mixed up world we are living in! Let us choose to encourage one another with the Word of God! How well do we know our Bible? If it was taken away from us, how much of it would we recall? There are nations in this world where the Bible is forbidden. Those who have read and soaked in God’s Word are able to withstand this evil time. God’s Word has become part of them, and nothing can take that away! One page memorized can carry a person for life. “For the Word of God is living and powerful, and sharper than any two-edged sword, piercing even to the division of soul and spirit, and of joints and marrow, and is a discerner of the thoughts and intents of the heart.” (Hebrews 4:12)

I am blessed to see my great grandchildren coming into the world, and I want them to have a good life. I want to see them live for Christ, and be all that God has created them to be. I want to see them enjoy the favor of the Lord, the promises written in His Word. I want to see them grow up in a world where they can know and love the Lord, and be all they were created to be. Therefore, no matter what I see happening, I choose to trust the Lord. I choose to speak life, and do all that I can in my sphere of influence to bring others to Him. I want to speak life and joy, and all that is good into the lives of those I know. This is what God asks of us! We are not to let fear come in! Could you imagine a world where everyone spoke life and joy and healing to one another? Wow…..
As Christians He is our Hope in a fallen world. As Christians we march on, trusting, loving our neighbors, and doing what is right in the sight of the Lord. We never give up! Pray for the peace of Jerusalem. Pray for our elections coming up. Pray for your family, your neighbors, and people at work. Be an encourager, and encourage yourself too! A smile goes a long way. Greet people with a smile, and you will see their face light up. It is contagious! I dare you not to smile right now!

Father, in Jesus Mighty Name, I lift up this reader to You, and place him or her in Your loving arms. Father, I ask you to encourage this person, fill this person with Your love, Your joy, and Your peace. Meet every need according to Your riches in glory. Amen!
