“Whether you turn to the right of to the left, your ears will hear a voice behind you, saying, “this is the way; walk in it.” (Isaiah 30:21)

Dear Friend,

Trusting that all is well with you and your loved ones. We are fine, and looking forward to a new season both in the spirit and natural realm. During the past few years, God began a birthing process of restoring both the Apostolic and Prophetic offices, and in this season, there is an exciting  new wave of creativity and transformation taking place. The time is NOW to stop riding the fence so to speak, and decide who we are and what we stand for as an individual, and as a member of the corporate Church. He is looking for those who are not satisfied with church as usual, but who desire more in the heavenly realm. He is looking for those who are willing to call forth heaven to earth, and step out in faith to believe Him for miracles!

How hungry are we to see His power come down, and see those who are sick healed? How hungry are we to see the lost come to the saving knowledge of Jesus Christ? What is the core of the passion within us? What would we be willing to risk and possibly die for?  There can be no middle ground, we must either be hot or cold, and we must be willing to sacrifice all to follow Him. God says, “take a drink, drink of My Holy Spirit, and be filled so that you can go forth to pour out my love to those who are lost, and to those who need a special touch from Me.”

He  is waiting for those who will fulfill His mission statement found in Luke 4: 18-19 and Isaiah 61. Simply, it is this: 1. Preach the gospel to the poor 2. Proclaim release to the captives 3. Recovery of sight to the blind 4. Set free the downtrodden 5. Proclaim the favorable year of the Lord. Glory! Are you ready? This is what we, the church, are meant to do! We are meant to go out to the market places to witness to those who need to hear the Good News of the Gospel. My friend, this is where the action is! What do we do with the time God has given us? What thoughts run through our mind as we go about our day? What are our priorities as we plan our activities?

Each new day is a new opportunity for us to boldly step out to fulfill God’s mission statement!. He is looking for those who will set their affections for what He desires. How hungry are we for this in our life? Have we, as a church, truly cried out for God to bring heaven down, and see the blind healed, the deaf hear, and the lame walk?  Are we willing to step out in faith and believe that God will perform that which He says He will?

Are we willing to be quiet enough to hear His instructions and follow the path He desires of us?

If we truly want to hear from God; if we truly want to know Him, and serve Him, He will speak to us! His Word says that He will! When Jesus walked the earth, He spent His days in ministry teaching, and healing the sick. His Word says that we will do greater things! “Most assuredly I say to you, he who believes in Me, the works that I do he will do also; and greater works than these he will do, because I go to the Father. And whatever you do ask in My Name, that I will do, that the Father may be glorified in the Son. If you ask anything in My Name, I will do it.” (John 14:12-14).  Glory! Doesn’t this get you excited? What I am about to say is very important. Please prayerfully consider this, and ponder upon it until it gets into your spirit. When you accepted Jesus Christ as your personal Lord and Savior, and asked Him to come into your life, and live His life through you, you opened the door for God Himself to fill you with His Holy Spirit, who will operate through you to bring heaven to earth. You opened the door for God Himself to enter in and make you a living vessel for Him to work in to accomplish His will here on this earth! His Holy Spirit lives in you! This is powerful! God has given you and me everything that we need now to live the Christian life. The Holy Spirit convicts us of sin; we know immediately when we have done something wrong. He encourages us, He is our Helper, our Comforter, our Teacher, our Best Friend... There is so much that He wants to do in us, if we will only say, “Yes, Lord!”

God does not leave us clueless as to His will for us. He teaches us, He guides us, He shows us the way. There are so many ways that God speaks to us. He can give us a dream, a vision, a gut feeling inside. He can speak to us in that still small voice, where it is heard within, but almost sounds like it came from outside. He can also speak to us audibly. If we are serious and truly want to follow Him, He will show us the way we should go. As with any relationship, it is something that has to be worked on. We do not find a mate by sitting in a living room watching TV all the time, do we? Of course not! We have to go out, meet people and then when we see someone with potential, we go after that relationship! In the same way, we cannot grow in the Lord unless we get into a good Bible believing church, and study to show ourselves approved. We cannot grow unless we come together with the Body of Christ and learn and understand what it means to come together to be one body, learning, and growing, and caring for one another as we would care for ourselves. We cannot grow unless we dig deep into God’s Word, eat and digest it until it becomes a part of us. We cannot grow until we are willing to let go of the things of this world and follow Him. We are entering into a prophetic, apostolic time where the offices of Apostles and Prophets are being restored, and God’s people are entering into a time of powerful anointed giftings to equip them for service. Do not fall behind, or miss the boat! Pray for God’s anointing on your life, and see where He will have you minister. Go out into the streets fully equipped with all you need to speak forth life into dry bones!  It is time for God’s church to be one, each person praying to see what their function is in this body. You have a destiny that only you can fulfill! God wants to use you in a great and mighty way, powerfully equipped by His Holy Spirit, using the gifting that is given you to help bring heaven down to earth. Receive all that He has to give!

In His Service,

Pastor Barbara
